How cool! When I ask for current location to Shrewsbury, MA it replies with: 1,431 mi – about 19 days 12 hours and kindly warns me that “Walking directions are in beta. Use caution – This route may be missing sidewalks or pedestrian paths.”
lol

I’m in an old school funk and hip hop mood today. My coworkers are going to have to DEAL with it.

Last week we stopped at a new place for lunch. Its a chain I’ve seen before, mainly in Florida while traveling, and we got our very own Beef o’Brady’s. Mainly a sports bar, they have large LCD tv’s all over the place, and the menu was typical sports bar food, not bad. I had boneless wings, and my lunchmate had a cheeseburger wrap which were both good. But the kicker was the dessert menu, which boasted deep fried oreos.
Now I’ve never had one, but one of my closest friends swears that these fair food yummies are little bites of heaven– basically oreo cookies dipped in funnel cake batter, deep fried, then rolled in powdered sugar, here’s a picture and the recipe.

After the aquarium we grabbed dinner at PF Changs, (seared tuna=YUM) and did some shopping before heading home. Found my mother in law had organized and cleaned my house for my birthday (THANK YOU!!!) and my newphew made me a devils food cake with chocolate frosting and a homemade card. My family is awesome, I love you guys.

Yesterday was a vast improvement! We were still in Tulsa, and after cashing out hubby’s winning tickets from the casino we headed for breakfast and then off to the Oklahoma Aquarium. Had a GREAT time, really loved it and took a ton of pictures, I hope they come out! The aquarium features a touch and feed ray tank, another couple of touch tanks and a turtle feeding center. There are regional displays which feature some of the largest catfish and gar I have ever seen, as well as other local fish and an otter stream area. There are also several saltwater exhibits, beautiful coral and anemone displays, and a walk through shark display. Really awesome.
